Monday was pretty cool. We were getting to know each other more. It was cool because a few of the people I didn’t know I got to know a little stuff about them. During that day we played a game called “Mosquito Bear Salmon” that game is like rock paper scissors, that game brought are skills or running. Tuesday now that day was time to get serious and work. We went to Fort Garland and did our safety stretches. It was kinda cool but I mean it was fun too. After that we all got our painting skills on and painted the County Shop. I honestly think it was a good experience for us. We got a little closer to the people. Wednesday and Thursday I had lots of fun cleaning bridges and the lake camp-grounds. But Wednesday Victoria almost got bit by a snake but good thing it rattled. That is one of our big safety concerns watch for SNAKES!!!! Friday was pretty fun. That day was our education day. We went to the rito seco and Gabby told us all kinds of history about the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. It was pretty interesting on how they got there name. Then we went to go listen to our guest speaker Reyes Lopez. I learned that he was a man that people tried to kill because of what he believed. Wow that is some SCARY stuff. All in all I can say that I love the group Im with and how we can help each other and get along with each other. SCC is an awesome job!!
