Crew #124 (Super Terrific Trail Workers)

Dear Internet,

Hey there, I know I haven’t been around much  lately, and it’s been a good eleven days since we’ve been together, but hear me out; The Southwest Conservation Corps has sent five other teenage Tucsonans and I to the green forests of Colorado.  I’m sending my deepest apologies, but my crew members have replaced Facebook, frogs and elks have replace iTunes, and rock work has overtaken the challenges of Tetris.  Rather than creating the virtual towns of the The Sims, I’ve been creating, or rather maintaining, trails for hikers and horses.  This experience isn’t without its perks either- take, for example, the ‘natural’ fake dust tans, and the crew pet we’ve acquired!  His name is Cornelius the rock, and in addition to standing in as our honorary crew member, he’s also the prime keeper of the crew contract.  Oh internet, I’m so sorry for the neglect, but your stuffy office space is incomparable to the fresh air and stars of colorado.  Hope all is well, but it’s time to hit the fields!
